Supported Greater Manchester SMEs to grow and innovate by harnessing AI.

Unlocking the power of Artificial Intelligence, our fully funded programme connected businesses to cutting edge AI research, innovative technologies and academic knowledge from four universities.

The Greater Manchester AI Foundry was a fully funded, two-phased programme available to 150 small-medium sized businesses.

Evolving with the fast-approaching new digital future, our partnership of four universities: Manchester Metropolitan University, Lancaster University, The University of Manchester and University of Salford helped businesses translate world-leading AI research and academic insights, into novel products or services to increase efficiency, improve performance and secure competitive edge.

“Greater Manchester AI Foundry will place the region’s SMEs at the forefront of AI application, nationally and internationally.”
