Lead Project Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University
Dr Sean Brophy is the Project Manager for the Greater Manchester AI Foundry, where he oversees the project on behalf of the consortium of four partner universities. He is also an Enterprise Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School and a cross-disciplinary researcher interested in the role of technology, human capital, and higher education, in economic development.
Sean spent a decade at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he developed learning solutions for leading firms like Google, Twitter, Accenture and KPMG. He has previously undertaken research at Oxford’s Department of Education on commercial practices of U.K. and U.S. universities. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2015 and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in 2020.
